A common misconception around video is that the “magic happens” on set. While the actual filming portion of the process is important, videos truly come to life through post-production. 

You may be wondering, “what is post-production?”

I’m glad you asked. 

Post-production includes editing (organizing the footage in a compelling way), music selection (choosing an epic soundtrack that matches what’s on screen), coloring (making sure the images pop, match the overall mood of the content, etc), animation (creating moving or stationary graphics that help tell the story), and all other “finishing touches.” 

Basically, you can shoot the most gorgeous footage, with the best cameras, perfect lighting, and crystal clear audio, but without expert post-production, you are WASTING your time, energy, and money. 

We’ve said it before, but video is THE BEST way to land target clients, get your message across, and grow your organization, but video without beautiful post-production will accomplish none of these things.
